Unlike almost every single one of Palouse Ridge’s challenging par-4s, the tee shot at the 15th doesn’t require you to be perfect. With a hybrid or wood off the tee, you can lose it as right as you want and still have a short iron in with your approach. Don’t get too comfortable, though — with three deep bunkers strategically placed across the fairway’s landing areas, you might as well just take out the big stick and go for the green on the tee shot. Besides, there aren’t a whole lot of chances to score at Palouse, so when the opportunity presents itself as it does on 15, seize it. — Johnny Carey
