Whidbey Golf & Country Club
Opened with nine holes in 1962 and expanded to 18 in 1979, Whidbey Golf & Country Club blends has a reputation throughout the region for challenging greens and country-club quality with a refreshing lack of country-club pretension. Nearly every hole challenges the golfer to take on a creek, pond or other water feature, with suitable rewards for those who can execute a well-played shot.
Avalon Golf Links
Located just an hour North of Lynnwood in Burlington, Avalon features 27 mostly level holes that wind over, around and through an abundance of lakes, streams and other natural water features, surrounded by wetlands grasses and the wildlife who call them home. In addition to allowing golfers to vary their experience each time they play the course, the additional nine holes allow for a quicker pace of play, even at peak times, as groups are spread out across a greater number of holes. Avalon’s par-5s are some of its best holes, with South No. 4 and North No. 9 among the most enjoyable challenges in the state.
