Format:
- Each event is played a two-person best ball, net score.
- A two-person best ball works as follows:
- Each player on the team plays his/her own golf ball throughout the round and on each hole the low score – or “best ball” – of the group serves as the team score.
- Example: Player A gets a 5 and Plaer B gets a 4. The team score for that hole is a 4 because the low score of the group was B’s 4. These will be net scores.
- Players will play to their handicap index.
- Example If you have a handicap of 9 you will receive one extra stroke on the holes with a handicap 1-9. So if on the 3rd hardest hole you make a 5. Your net score will be a 4.
- Each player on the team plays his/her own golf ball throughout the round and on each hole the low score – or “best ball” – of the group serves as the team score.
- These Are Net Scoring Events
- Each event allows a maximum of 64 teams.
- Teams may register a third player (Alternate) but that person must be declared prior to the start of the first event. Alternates can’t be changed after the event starts.
- Only these three individuals are eligible to play on the team and compete towards the overall Rose City Fall Golf Classic Championship.
- All players must have a registered and active handicap.
- If the tournament feels any player has manipulated their handicap index in any form, or otherwise has been dishonest about their handicap, they will be instantly disqualified and no refund will be offered.
- SANDBAGGING IN ANY FORM WILL NOT BE TOLERATED!
Cumulative Prizes:
The combined score of teams playing in both events will determine the overall Rose City Fall Golf Classic Champion.
