PING Serene Women’s Set
PUETZ PRICE: $849.95
While rolling out new iron sets and game-improvement club lines seemingly every year, and managing a staff of pros that seemingly win everything, PING hasn’t lost sight of the game’s fastest-growing segment … women.
The manufacturing giant’s latest release for women is the Serene line, rolled out alongside the all-new PING Anser drivers and irons this fall. The 460cc driver, fairway wood and cavity-back irons each feature low centers of gravity and perimeter weighting to help get balls airborne more quickly, and increase forgiveness on mishits. Billed as even longer and straighter than PING’s hailed 2010 release, the Faith, the set also can be customized with 4-, 5- and 6-hybrids for players who prefer the extra power and forgiveness in their long irons.
All eight clubs utilize PING’s ultra-lightweight graphite shafts, and come with one of four putter models and two stylish cart bags.
We’re not quite sure how PING does it, frankly — but as long as they want to keep making clubs that are easier and easier to hit, we’ll keep coming back for more.
Check them out online at the link above, or even better, at a Puetz Golf location near you!
